In the first time to Vietnam and to dock at Cai Mep Port (Ba Ria-Vung Tau) and Nha Trang on May 27 and 28, Royal Caribbean International’s Spectrum of the Seas has brought 5,718 tourists and crew. The majority of guests on board are British, Australian, American and Chinese.
Spectrum of the Seas owned by Royal Carribean International Shipping Company (USA), which was put into service in early 2019 and can accommodate up to 6,500 passengers and crew members. Built by German shipbuilding company Meyer Werft at a cost of $940 million, Spectrum of the Seas, which is 347 meters long and 63 meters high, is considered one of the world’s most modern ships. The 18-storey ship weighs up to 169,370 tonnes.
With its first journey to Vietnam, cruise passengers has taken sightseeing tours to tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria Town, Vung Tau City and in Nha Trang beach city. Vietnam Travel is proud to be one of local tour operators providing travel services in southern and central Vietnam for the cruise passengers. On 27 May, groups of hundred tourists visited Ho Chi Minh City’s most highlights and today they visited Nha Trang City with its places such as Po Nagar Cham Towers, Nha Trang Stone Church and breathtaking views of Long Son Pagoda etc. Visitors also tasted Nha Trang’s cuisine specialties and went shopping local products at Dam market before coming back to the ship.

The luxury cruise ship left Nha Trang City at 6:00 p.m. on May 28 and continued sailing to Hong Kong. At the conclusion of this journey, Spectrum of the Seas is scheduled to dock at Shanghai, China on 2 June 2019.
